    Dr. Amole uses her background in medicine to bring some medical insight into the science classroom. With a deep understanding of human biology, physiology and anatomy, she uses case-based learning and applied examples to connect theory to real-life scenarios. Her goal is to inspire students by showing how science directly impacts the human body.

    Teaches Introduction to Light Microscopy for the Life Sciences 01:146:350 in Fall and Spring semesters

  • Research Interests:

    Prof. Tanvir's research focuses on utilizing cutting edge expansion microscopy techniques to study how visual deprivation affects structure and function of visual processing centers in the brain during both homeostasis and evolution

Prof. Tanvir (Zee) received her PhD in Biological Sciences from Rutgers-Newark in 2023. She is the director of the SAS-HGINJ Imaging Facility and teaches Introduction to Light Microscopy for the Life Sciences 01:146:350 at Rutgers University-NB.
